Our History

The creation of TEAMJP dates all the way back to 2005, when it first started out as a hobby for the owner of the team, Yasuyoshi Kimura, where he started his amateur motorcycle racing career in Japan.

After showing promising results from his hard work and dedicated training, he officially launched his professional career in 2011, racing in the All Japan Road Race Championship where he has since been on the finishing podium 38 times, winning 1st place in 12 of them.

He has also raced in the Eastern Japan Championship, winning 1st place in 20 out of 30 podium finishes.

He then received an invitation to participate in the Speed Hero Pan Delta Road Racing Festival in China, which he has since won 1st place eight times.

Yasuyoshi Kimura officially retired as a professional racer in 2016, and has since been managing several motorcycle teams who take part in the likes of notorious racing events such as: Coca-Cola Zero’s Suzuka 8 Hours by EWC, All Japan Road Race Championship and Speed Hero Pan Delta Road Racing Festival.
